Captain Marvel: Warbird, Teaser

In this post I will introduce my freshest fanfic, Captain Marvel: Warbird. The story tells the tale of the origin of the Binary Bonds, the two Captain Marvels. Carol Danvers has been the last line of defense for the Earth for years now, and her mortal enemy, the vicious alien nation named the Krees are approaching Earth at a speed that if Carol doesn't get new allies soon, it'll be too late. The help she finally gets is rather surprising, a teen age girl named Roxy Scotts. She gets caught in the crossfire of Carol's and the Krees' fight and she gets similar, inhuman powers as Carol and thus becomes the second Captain Marvel. Carol and Roxy work together to stop the Kree invasion and start a new team of Avengers. The tale never ends because if you defeat one leader of the Kree, a new one will rise before you know it and another war begins.

Roxy and Carol were sitting at the cantine of the spacecraft, looking out of the window down to Earth. “It’s so small. At least when you look down to it from here.” Roxy chuckled and took a sip of her tea. “Yep, I’ve found myself thinking that so many times in my life.” Carol replied and a warm smile rose to her lips. “Let’s see how many times it happens to me. It may be good if I stay up here now. I don’t want Emma and Edith to get involved.” Roxy said with a whiff of sadness in her voice. “I’ll train you. I’ll teach you the basics of being an intergalactic hero and to manage with the Krees.” Carol said and placed her hand on Roxy’s shoulder. “You would really do that? Teach me to become the second Captain Marvel?” Roxy asked. Carol nodded and smiled at her. “Where will we start?”

“First, I’m teaching you to punch-without your powers. You can’t throw enhanced punches before you know how to throw a normal uppercut…” Carol started. “Also I’ll teach you the basics of hand to hand combat, you’ll figure out the rest while on duty. Then, it’s time for power controlling. Learning how to shoot photon blasts without burning the whole place up is vital. Lastly, I’ll brief you through all of the crap going on in the universe and to read and write Kree Glyphes.” She finished. “Whoa, we better get started.” Roxy said. “Yep, we should.”
